Well, it's certainly nice to hear the opposing view. This is the only statement I have a problem with, because I don't see that in his original post at all. What I do see is YJ expressing annoyance that the tourney seemingly started 45 minutes late because of you when at almost all other...

    Free will or Destiny?

Well, it looks like Landkiller took over the argument. I have no idea how to "devil's advocate" an argument for destiny right now; I think I'm in the mindset of arguing against freewill :) I guess for destiny you kinda have to believe there is some "overriding" force that governs your actions...

Why do we like killing people?

So your above quote is based on media reports, not necessarily the US government's position in itself? In other words, you're taking the media's word for it that the government cherishes life, not any "official" document or statement or even policy that demonstrates this view. Why don't you...

    Free will or Destiny?

How do we know there's an afterlife? Because religion says so or is there anything else?

This thread has brought in three new members, at least! Maybe YJ should be our new ambassador... :)

    Free will or Destiny?

Since no one else has replied... how do you know that's not the case now?

    Free will or Destiny?

I said free will, although I don't have any evidence for either side. It just "feels" more to what I believe.

Why do we like killing people?

Multani: Say what? "According to the media"? So you trust the media on this and not on other stuff? I think "human rights violations and deprivation" are NOT analogous to being a champion of life. That's being a champion of human rights. And I'd ask the same of them: how exactly did they...

    Check this out!

It would probably depend on the writer's/script and the director's vision. 80's Spiderman movie: bad upcoming one: who knows? first couple of Batmans: okay last couple: not so good same with Superman movies Incredible Hulk: sub-par

    Honor, Dignity, and a DQ

So in this above case, because when the first player dropped meant the second player would win a future match (and thus the tourney), it's different from my cases where it's the immediate match in question?

Why do we like killing people?

Multani: Yes, the US does execute spies, but they usually get a trial first. And that's just the big names. I'm also talking about the lesser people who got betrayed by Hanesson and were "never heard of again" (off the top of my head). Taking Russia as an example, they also hold trials for...

How often have you been coming to the store for events? And how often has YJ?

Why do we like killing people?

Ah, but you did not say "modern in civil rights". You merely said "modern", on which there was a discussion on the first page of this thread.

RPG, Chapter 6: The Battle with the Beast

So was this dragon in the habit of taking people's forms? Were they any legends that referred to him from the centuries before? I like stuff like that :)

    ATTENTION; Subterfuge Story line.

Maybe you should pick a more fancible name than "Siberia" (and one not real-life) :)

Why do we like killing people?

So China's not modern? What IS a modern nation?

Why do we like killing people?

Um, you gotta remember James Bond is the movies. Try relating it to real-world spy cases. I'm pretty sure they don't get a "James Bond chance"; they're executed right away (well, in places other than the US apparently).
