Okay, here's a prime example of what's not right here: where's the Judgment talk? About the spoiler and whatnot? We had one thread and it rather quickly faded out of sight, with most people saying it was generally on target yet with a few discrepancies. Yet no substantial thoughts about it...

Well, I think I could handle front page stuff right now if a couple of articles come in once a week, but if it turns into a flood where the front page needs updating every day (which is hopefully a goal), I will be sure to ask for help :)

I haven't read any Magic articles recently so I don't know what slang is being used nowadays. Of those not mentioned, "barr-oken" comes to mind, but it's not that dumb, just... annoying. :)

It's gone downhill in that there is less Magic talk nowadays. And I wasn't here either when it started, but came soon after. What do you mean the chat and email don't work? The latter works fine for me; I'm behind a firewall so can't check the current status of the chatroom.

Haven't seen the movie yet, but I don't think they're trying to say "only geeks play Magic", just that "this particular geek plays". In other words, they're reinforcing that he's a geek and a social outcast and to set up why turning into a hero changes his life ;)

Well, I would support going either way, it's just that there aren't any more "hardcore" members who play Magic that come here. Who are the hardcore members, anyway? I myself only play once every two weeks, if that.
