That's also why I put it in; I had other blue Birds and was hoping to get some advantage with Crown of Vigor (I hope that's the right crown, the green one that gives +1/+1). My friend had a white dude that got +2/+2 and flying if he controlled a bird (I think) so there might have been a use there.

Why do you think you had an extra influx of people? I didn't think Maryland gets that many but thinking back, we had my 32, three more going on before it, and then the 128 started. The room didn't feel like 200 people though...
