They've pretty much stopped coming in the mail so I don't get any more (fortunately). I just see them at games stores and Target. But apparently the first couple runs of them are collectibles now...

That's odd - he was on yesterday. Maybe he was in a rush and just checked threads he subscribed to (although he should be subscribing to this one! ;) ) He also didn't answer one of my PMs and he's normally pretty good at that...

I have some but have yet to use them. I always seem to find other creatures for red, especially for five mana. But I've never really thought of the kind of application you described so maybe I'll go back and look at them some more :)

Manabarbs is one of the greatest underrated cards :)

Go to the search engine at CrystalKeep and type in Soldier for Creature Type and Creature for Card Type. See if there's any other Soldiers from older sets that you want and I can see if I have them and send you some.

Nope, no one has a Sliver deck yet. I think I am actually the only one who could do it, since I was the only one around during the Tempest block (they all have Onslaught Block Slivers but don't seem inclined to use them). I could probably make one with both blocks and see how it goes :)
