whats the point? your opponent will use the 2 life effect to keep you from drawing the good cards, while you empty your hand and use the bridge...

Your opponent would see your clever ploy because your hand is revealed and automatically begin pummeling you with crap cards.

Wow, if we put it that way it does seem hopeless. :(

Who cares! Maybe you could force a scoop out of frustation...I love when my friends do that. Gives the warm fuzzy feeling. It's even responsible for my all time favorite Magic quote:

NS - That's Why I put Future Sight on the list. You can play stuff off the top of your deck - Where you're opponent can't Zur's Weirding it.

Mana Barbs and Power Surge, or Citadel of Pain if you can't get those, anda Chimerical Idol or some other way to tap all your land without tapping it for mana is just wicked.

You know, I think I'll throw in Armageddon Clock just to see the reaction of people.

I remember it's basics but it's been such a long time I had to look it up.....looks promising.

Are there two Manabarbs out? :)

I don't have a Citadel; I'lll look it up and see if it fits in my deck.

There are lots of cool artifacts that could be used with CoP... Magma Mine, for one :)

Well Power Surge and Citadel of Pain are the opposite of Manabarbs - you take damage for each land you DON'T use. Power Surge is much better, but also harder to get, I think it was last printed in Revised. Citadel is a Prophecy uncommon.

Out of print cards from 10 years ago are probably harder to get than ones a couple years ago, depending on how you're getting them (your local area vs. online).

I have Power Surges though; didn't quite fit in my deck and what I wanted to do.
