All right, I got a reply from Jason saying that the demo is for the X-Box :( I asked him about the Gamespy news of a demo being for the PC also so I'll let you know what he says. I may have dropped the ball on this since he said he thought he told me, so I apologize.

He got off on a "technicality" since though the evidence would have convicted him (I think), the way they got their evidence was illegal. Unfortunate, but it does happen in real life. In Baltimore alone, there are cases where known murderers get off because no one will testify against them...
