Lich's Tomb is pretty close to the original Lich, so using the Lich's rulings from Crystalkeep, you CAN go to negative digits. I think KJ just missed the Lich's TomB part of the combo - he's been playing a while so I'm pretty sure he knows about the Golden Rule :)

Well, since he had cards in his hand before, I assumed the Betrothed of Fire was one of them. If it was the card he drew instead of the Drake, then obviously he can't play it now.

Well, music is not the best example because it's been shown that CDs already have an artificially high price tag anyway. The best way to really try to track it is to compare sales of CDs overall vs the number of music downloads and see if one goes down, the other goes up.
