I was talking about the span from Monday afternoon to Tuesday morning, when no one posted in Off-Topic. That was probably the longest stretch I've ever seen a non-posting period in Off-Topic... :)

I used to play 3.0 until my group fell apart too (otherwise we'd probably be playing 3.5). I also have the Basic D&D (red cover), Expert, AND Companion (but not Master, our characters never got that far :) )
My group follows the B/R lists for pretty much the same reasons as Reverend Love stated. However, it's usually not a problem since hardly anyone owns any "real" power cards in any great number (like the rares, we have lots of Sol Rings, Regrowths, etc) and half the group likes to play with...
