    Random card ideas

All seem okay except Chaotic Storm, for its effect, seems it should be an enchantment than a sorcery. I have the perception that a sorcery's effect is immediate. If you have to wait until upkeep, it sounds like it should stay around and be an enchantment, especially since it sounds recurring.

Fake Card: Bob Barker, T1 Legend

Wacky! Isn't the new template for Legendary Creature types something like Legendary Creature - <type>? In other words, Legends aren't valid creature types anymore, they're a supertype? Just a minor templating error, I think :)

Zak Dolan's 1994 World Championship Diary

Actually, it WAS that bad compared to today. No one really knew the theory of the "mana curve" that was introduced with the Sligh deck. Card advantage was just beginning to be understood, either in terms of drawing or board position or whatever (Zak said he was convinced by a buddy? to take...

Well, apparently you haven't seen the decks I've seen, because I've seen it used in the decks you've described. You got that right. <sigh> It IS negligible and you seem to be veering off the beaten track. I already established we were talking about dual colored decks, not three-or-more...

....to see the room devoid of inhabitants. This is a 20' square room with the door in the upper east wall. It contains a bed, a small oak table, a wooden chair, a wooden footlocker, and a pile of papers. The table has been toppled over, the chair has been smashed into pieces, the footlocker...

I've never seen it in action either. And I don't know how tightly players played with their side of the table and their cards. But if it was played alot before its banning, it had to be somewhat useful. Deck building wasn't THAT bad back then :)

Less common, afterthought, it all comes down to not considering Hymn as a viable choice for a dual color deck. When I make a discard deck with two colors, I always pull out the Hymn and put them in my "cards to use" pile when getting the cards together, period. The only reason why I'm...

Because they show that thinking to include Hymn is an exception, used rarely, used not often. If Hymn was always being considered for a two-colored deck, the words would be unnecessary. Yes, but your whole theme is that in general, not personally, Hymn is not seen in two color decks, whether...

Statements like The words "maybe" and "but" qualify the usage of the Hymn to it being an afterthought rather than seriously be considered in dual colored decks. These "problems" you mention with Fork actually work to its favor - you're not going to be using Fork (generally) right away; it's...
