I can't remember if in my past discussion mythosx gave me the reference, but perhaps you can help and can tell me where and how specifically marriage originated from the Bible (and of course, that's only from the viewpoint of those who use the Bible) and where it says homosexuality is wrong?

I think it just happened to be a good/bad matchup (depending on whose side you're on :) ). I just happened to be playing man-lands. He would have had more success against a more normal "creature" deck, I think.

If Jade Empires is for the X-Box, I think that got good reviews too...

Depending on what format you're doing, dual lands are the obvious choice. Later formats might not have access to create a consistent three land availability in which case you deciding to use Fork would be a bad idea to begin with. Looking back at our exchange, I believe I neglected to clarify...

That might help strengthen the thought that Type 1 IS playable without the Moxes and Lotus (which are only 6 cards out of 60). There's always the "god hands" of course, but you can get those in any format.

Yeah, I don't know. I don't view losing the Potion as a "drawback" because you're using it for its purpose - to go first. I guess playtesting would have to be done.

I'm probably not going to be able to play with the SOK cards for a while but I agree with KJ... I'd try to find something to break the "metagame", if you think everyone's gonna be going for LD or discard or control.
