Normally I'd say something like "Yeah, Dark Ritual is the perfect solution for any problem." Seriously, I'm not sure about how much it would be helpful in this deck. It's such great mana acceleration that it's viable and all, but not as crazy as it can be. I guess I'd try Dark Ritual in this...

The reason I suggested lowering the toughness wasn't because I thought the cards were broken. There is a slight difference because of things like Prodigal Sorcerer or whatever... But my reasoning was that ever since Ball Lightning, 1 has been the toughness for creatures like that. It's more of...

The Mana Short, to be realistically workable, should be end of turn... That is not 3URRR.

A lot of people would complain if they reprinted the old power cards. Probably none of them would commit suicide over it though. Personally, I think it's overdue and would love to see a set with all the Moxes, Time Walk, Wheel of Fortune, Necropotence, Stroke of Genius, Oath of Druids...

This sort of thing could be just nasty with something like Mana Short...

Chaos Machine: I'm wondering if the sorcery speed is necessary for the ability. Timeless Defender: I like this card. But It might be slightly underpowered. Decks that could use it would use it when they are able to respond to anything an opponent will topdeck, similar to how Meditate is somehow...

It's not always so nice after sleeves get worn for a while either. I have one that is splitting off in the bottom corner and no extras opaques available, (I only use one color, so that's not a problem) so I have to shuffle that deck in a very particular way in order to avoid making that sleeve...

That's too bad about the Seat of the Synod thing... I've never tried to get any, but they should be relatively easy to, and one more would help... There's also the Thirst for Knowledge thing, it might be nice...

Maybe Yavimaya Hollow, but I don't know. Not sure how quickly the deck runs and all or if mana is a problem...

I compared the new version to Carnival, not the old one. It's better than Carnival definitely though... I think it looks good though. Envision seems fine too... I'm not saying Istanbul is wrong about the old version being broken. I just wonder what exactly would break it that much... I like...
