A while back I had an ok big creature deck like a rusty old scimitar, and now it has evolved into a powerful claymore, but I think it could be better.

this deck wins using two strategies, strategy A is to pound the enemy with huge creatures and then some. strategy B is to use fierce empaths to fetch root elemental and Krosan Cloudscraper, then unmorph rooty to slap krosan kloudskraper into play for just seven mana. any whispersilks, helms and fireshreikers that pop up throughout either strategy are a great help.

I've found through playing with this deck that strategy B almost never reaches fruition because the enemy is a puddled mass on the floor before all the peices appear. Sometimes I attack with a big mana creaure and a fierce empath, to have the big guy blocked and the one damage put through. this is my favorite time to pull out good old Accelerated mutation and slap it on the once teeny weeny empath for the win.

Are there any cards that should be taken out, and any that should be put in?

The Tentacled One
Maybe Yavimaya Hollow, but I don't know. Not sure how quickly the deck runs and all or if mana is a problem...

I tried the goldfish test before i even had combo B and it did a turn 7 kill. Only every once in a while do i get mana screwed w/ this deck.

The Tentacled One
Then it could probably use a couple Hollows? I only have one, but I did use it and found it great in some matches...

There's 28 creatures - but that's trivial...

why not forgotten ancient for continuous growth of your critters...;)

Another temple of the false god, or upwelling might make for an interesting deck...;)

And upwelling lets you see phat stuff much sooner than 9th turn...;)

On average - 6th turn...

That's 3 turns faster... I think that's quite a bit sooner...:)
