    Charon's Claw(my type one sui-black)

I dispute that. The greatest point about Lake is that it taps to produce FOUR mana for the price of a swamp. Being legendary is just icing on the cake. But the card is great... Why not include a Necropotence or something? It looks like that would work...
  2. Oversoul

What card makes you cry when it is played against you?

But it's cool and a fun deck to play...
  3. Oversoul

    Forbidden Ritual

It was in no danger of being broken... If they meant nontoken, they'd have said it when it was printed. It wasn't left out in any sense except maybe they realized the card would have some use if it were allowed to use tokens. The errata on Great Whale/etc. was to stop them from being broken...
  4. Oversoul

    Panoptic Mirror

That's why Fork would be so fun: it's a challenge. Regrowth would just be insane though, I'd think. You could keep digging stuff out of your graveyard, so that you could use it whenever, not just during your upkeep...

    Multiplayer Discard deck

    Yes, increase land count...

    Death from Above

I didn't say that the banned/restricted list serves no purpose. What I meant was that it is a list for Type I or Type 1.5. Criticizing someone for posting a casual decklist that uses multiple copies of cards that are restricted in Type I, on that basis, seems to be a bit uncasual though...
  7. Oversoul

    Casual format?

I'd imagine some would, if they wanted to... They do have some advantages over dual lands, etc., however minor those might be... What might be more fun though... Restrict mountain!
  8. Oversoul

What card makes you cry when it is played against you?

I gave up on trying to make the game seem realistic...
  9. Oversoul

    Panoptic Mirror

Balance, Demonic Tutor, Timetwister, Ancestral Recall, Time Walk, Time Warp, Coercion, Hymn to Tourach, Soul Feast, Corrupt, Boomerang, Shahrazad, Abeyance, Lightning Bolt, etc. But what I think would be most interesting, either Fork or Regrowth...
  10. Oversoul

    Forbidden Ritual

Easy to disrupt and abusive usually don't go together in decks that aren't insanely fast or in situations where they face underpowered opponents. It's definitely fun, but what does it really win against consistently? It's not as though there's some killer deck that the errata kills, it just...
  11. Oversoul

What card makes you cry when it is played against you?

Don't see how... Yeah, Donate and Illusions weren't inteded to work that way. I call it serendipity though. Those kinds of things make the game interesting...
  12. Oversoul

    Polar Kraken

Yeah, then it dies and Death Watch hurts them a lot...
  13. Oversoul

    Death from Above

20 Moxen? What is it exactly that from looking at his decklist makes you think he has even one? The format is called casual. Sorry if you've never heard of it. It goes something like this though, you can use cards from Magic: the Gathering because they were meant to be played. It's not...
  14. Oversoul

What card makes you cry when it is played against you?

Trix? Pretty stable, I guess, but it definitely has its weaknesses. Why is that the one that bothers you?
  15. Oversoul

    Ultimate Deck (Better than Rhinoseeker)

Oh well, neither deck uses Snowfall anyway...

  17. Oversoul

    Thought Prison

Oh, Thought Prison, I thought you meant Icy Prison, for some reason... I think I lost to this card once, when I was doing badly already. It's not just good against mono-color decks...
  18. Oversoul

    Forbidden Ritual

Fun maybe, but not broken... Now, without the errata, it'd be better, but STILL not broken...
  19. Oversoul

    Eater of Days

Disenchant is the most apparent, and you can use it on their stuff too. Seems like there could be something better for it though...
  20. Oversoul

    Snowfall

Aw, why'd you have to call it? Now I'll have to move on to Dwarven Pony...
