Ah. I still don't know what to make of the Aegis storyline. So much of it is familiar, but it is markedly different from the old M94 storyline. The contrast threw me off in the first few episodes, but I'm warming up to it...

Just as Ransac was about to grab Zadok002 and bury him to the neck in jello to prevent escape, Oversoul accidently casted a Fireball at their victim, blasting Ransac and Oversoul into the air and destroying the unfortunate Zadok002. And no, I can't believe I did that. I suspect a conspiracy.

Holding on until just the right moment, Oversoul sweeps Ransac out Zadok002's path with his tentacles, causing the maniacal killer to bump his head on the grindstone, rendering him unconscious.

Even as Ransac was narrowing his search down to three or four scents he thought would work the best, Zadok002 moved closer, intent on destroying Ransac at all costs.
