It depends. If there is no ONE, then yes, because animals and plants can percieve sound. If there is noTHING, then no. Sound waves will be created upon the impact, but unless there is a receptor (ear) to pick it up, then "sound" can not be created....... unless, of course, a meteor lands on you...
