How would your creatures having evasion be a disadvantage? What you are talking about is purely psychological, and elementary at that. I know I'd take evasion over the lack of it any day (except those ones when Hurricane hits and stuff).

I remember playing against a friend when we both had burn decks. Those games were intense. I don't think aggro (or any other type of deck) is boring. People often say that about any deck they lose to, but that's just an excuse for playing an inferior deck.

Well, regardless of how notable any decks posted here are, if you follow any Vintage tournaments, you'll notice that basic lands are less than prominent. I just went here for an example. There are seventeen decklists. And by my count, there are only, let's see... ...only 48 basics between them...

I would go with UG Madness unless you have the resources to create UGR Madness (then you would get Anger and stuff). Lion's Eye Diamond is awesome with such decks.
