Well I like the G/U madness more. Merfolk Looter, Aether Burst, Circular Logic, Careful Study and Wonder - (Hello!) On red's side, madness burn and Grim Lavamancer are really good, but I like the blue much more. With flying madness fatties, you really don't need the burn.
Cards that made it in to the later eveolutions of Madness were Genesis and Phantom Centaur. The Centaur actually replaced the Arrogant Wurms in a lot of people builds on the logic that Arrogant Wurm was only good if you had a way to discard it on turn three and that most oppoents will do whatever it takes to get your turn 2 Mongrel or Looter off the table anyway. Might as well spendturn three replacing your turn 2 utility creature and then roll something fierce on turn 4. Thus, Centuar acts like Roar of the Wurm 5-8.
Genesis, obviously, because it's green's Eternal Dragon.
And don't forget Basking Rootwalla. He's underrated as a beater, (Remember that he can pump!).
