Before you do that, Ty comes over to the bottom part of the "T" and sees if he can move in next to Kelgar, leaving room for Throg and Revaethan to join him if they like, so if/when the elf and dwarf maneuver the wights towards us we're in a position to catch them between us.

Ty will attack the skeletons, attempting to cut his way through to free Throg. Can I delay the re-roll until I actually acknowledge the Wights, since my back is towards them right now?

He does, he'll apply it to his fist spike. That seems like it would be a good idea. Then he'll go ahead and do the listening/looking for traps/secret door checking mentioned earlier... :)
