This has been a very painful weekend for me. I much as I want to give reasons (excuses really) why my beloved Mets lost the bottome line is that their poor play has put them at 0-2. Should be 1-1, could be 2-0 but alas....
The whole incident with Clemens I will place blame on, and as usual it falls on the shoulders of the MEDIA, scourge of honest play and the American "right" of free press.
But I will tell you this, the Mets from 98-2000 have done nothing the easy way. Look at last night's game as an example.
