That is correct and that is correct.

The first hand, you only get one card. Next hand, you will get two, and so forth.

BB - Yes, we no longer want your kind in this game... (j/k - you apparently just missed the call for players).

What do you mean run out of cards? We have enough cards for 6 players, up to 10 rounds with 10 cards each

I thought it went 12 rounds the first time?

And since I'd forgotten about the extra 8 (4 jesters + 4 wizards) 10 rounds works perfectly.

It went 12 rounds because there were only 5 players. Since there's 60 cards, the number of rounds (and cards in the round) is dependent on the number of players. If there were only 4, there would have been 15 rounds.
