The game is still very close.

The Trump Card Burned was the Wizard - Which means that rkoelsch get's to pick the Trump. He selected Clubs.

edit - clean up brain cramp and include the scores.

That's how I remember it too. If a Wizard is flipped, first player decided. If a Jester is flipped, no trump. So I think rkolesch should name trump with his bid, but I agree that Spidey should confirm because I might have it backwards.

edit - is it rkoelsch or train that picks trump. I thought it was the first lead, which would actually be train. Now we really need Spidey to speak up.

I told BigBlue in a PM, but just so everyone knows, when a Wizard is flipped, the dealer chooses trump after looking at his cards. In this case I think it's rkoelsch since he's last, unless BigBlue is having the dealer go first or something.

I realized my mistake after I'd sent everything out of course... It wasn't until I sent Spidey his cards that it dawned on me that I might be wrong... I did some historical research of threads here for that one other time I remembered a Wizard Flop...

And indeed the "Dealer" gets the privilege. The dealer is of course RKoelsch and he has chosen Clubs.

Given the "flood control" and that I think everyone's figured it out... I won't be sending another PM...

I apologize for my confusion, and hope it doesn't add to yours. :D

With the "new" trump of Clubs, take it away Train.

my best guess is that Puff didn't think he'd win that one... meaning he'd have 2 higher cards...

that may leave someone open for being set... :eek:

And only 1 other bidder...

But had you all seen my cards - there would have been no doubt...
