This round was pretty weird, almost duplicating the first round of the first Wizard game. Again, two Jesters, and a Wizard were dealt, with a Jack of trump. TomB made the best bid he could but unfortunately for him rkoelsch had the Wizard.

No kidding. Only I had the Ace, not the Jack. No one expects to take with the Jac...Um, well, okay, they do, but it's not a foregone conclusion like it is with the Ace
BTW, Just a refresher. If two Wizards are played, which takes the trick? The first played or the second. I seem to recall it was the first because you could ditch Wizard that way, but I wanted to make sure.

You're doomed, TomB. When I had the Ace of trump first hand, I ended up getting really borderline hands all game. You won't get your first Wizard or Jester until hand 7 and all of your cards will be between 6 and Jack. Just resign yourself to it
