i thought of a combo today and i want to know if it will work or will i just flop.ok the combo is DIVING WITCH and DONATE

what i want to know is if i activate the aboutlity of the witch and name black lotus, then donate the withc to my opponent in response will he have to search his deck for the lotus, witch will result in a deck out for him or will i have to search for the lotus and my opponet still gets the witch. thanks for the help. until later fellow magic players.

in my last message i was wondering if any card could do thatfor me to force my opponent to deck out with the witch.

'Fraid not. 2 reasons why:
1. Donate is a Sorcery, you can't do it in response to anything.
2. Divining Witch's ability, if you used it after Donate, would still hit you and deck you instead

Try Donate thoughtlash. Much more effective, if slower.
