When Enchanted Creatures ATTACK!

To sum this deck up. Bought a repack containing a Thran Golem and instantly fell in love. He's reliant on one of my favorite type of cards...Creature Enchantments.

So about after a week of goofing around I came up with this...haven't played it yet though :(

Thran Golem is a vanilla 3/3 but when enchanted gains

Flying, Trample, First Strike AND +2/+2..thats not incuding the buff

Methran Elite is a 2/2 that becomes unblockable once buffed.

Old Yavimaya Enchantress as everyone knows recieves +1/+1 for every enchantment in play...she's the booty-ho of the deck.

Nomad Mythmaker keeps the enchantments rolling right back into play if destroyed....I imagine he works well with Compulsion as well.

Replenish x2 in case someone get's froggy and plays Tranquility.

Looks good to me... Maybe something that protects your creatures...

Mother of runes, etc...

Also - since you're running blue - capsize is always an option...

If you want to change it around a little you could replace the six
blue cards with four Beloved Chaplin and two Sterling Grove.
Elephant Guide might be better that the Mask since you have
the Mythmaker, not sure though...

just another possibility...:)

What do you guys think about dropping the Empyrial Armor in favor of Elephant guides...I think they'd work better with the Nomad myself thanks for the suggestion Capt.

Also what about this?

That would work best in my opinion... that way you still get a good mix of creatures - but you can stop your opponent from targetting them, or save them from attackers/blockers...

What about swapping out Emp armor for Elephant guides?

I think the guides would help more - but it all depends on how many cards you think you'd hold in your hand...

The empyrial armor could be a kill card with a full hand - while a 3/3 ain't going to do much unless it lives a few turns and has friends helping it...

How about some of those new "Dragon" enchants from Scourge? They're not too shabby and do a lot for a little...

I like the idea of dragon scales +1/+2 and creature doesn't tap to attack, but they only come back for free on the real fat, but they do come back for free...

Diplomatic immunity is alwasy fun. A 5/5 flying first strike trample can't be the target of spells or abilities is a pretty good kill condition.

Oh yeah, dont' forget ancestral mask and rabid wombat.

Still waiting for my Ancestral Masks ot arrive in the mail.

Here's what I'm currently roll'en with. I dropped the Mother of Runes and Nomad Mystic. Reason being I found myself playing enchantments/kill creatures in favor of the Mystic. Same for the Mother. Decided to give the boost a much needed boost in speed along with further smoothing out the mana.

why empyrial armor just out of curiosity? how often do you have a full hand? is it possible to go with embraces instead. cost just one more but the bonus is that you dont have to maintain a hand. regenerating, cant be the target of spells or abilitie or not tapping to attack are all very hard to deal with.

Actually with the Sylvan library and rancors - the empyrial armor can stay decent...

what about a little more card drawing since your running blue anyway...

just a thought - then the armor gets even fatter....;)
