What time do you get up?

I just noticed that a lot of Spidermans inital posts for the day are around 5:30 or 6:00 in the morning. To me that is insane! I know it might have to do a little with the Time Zones, but holy cow, I can not usually function before 9:00 am. How does he do it?

He lives in the eastern time zone, so it's actually around 6:30am - 7am EDT. You might notice that our members from the Netherlands post at ungodly hours like 2am, but I don't think they're actually staying up that late.

Anyway, 6:30 - 7am is still insane to me. Especially since he spends his nights fighting crime and whatnot.

Yeah, fortunately, crime is down in my area, so I do a quick sweep and am usually done by midnight.

Seriously, it's pretty tough since all through college I was used to sleeping in until 11 or noon, but after 10 years on the job, you get used to it. Not that I wouldn't sleep in again on weekends, but the kids put an end to that But I get in early to work so I can leave "early". Functioning that early isn't a problem, it's later on in the day when it can hit me

If I go to bed on time (usually 10 or so - ie I haven't gotten hooked on Civ or something else), then I'm typically up around 5.... sometimes earlier. 8am is sleeping in for me... and usually means I drank too much the night before.

Bedtime for me is usually between 11 and midnight... though I'd like to get to bed sooner, it just doesn't work out that way

I don't think there's anyone here that lives in a later time zone than I do, but my hours are erratic. Since I arrived here, I've probably posted at least once in every hour of the day. I got up at 3:45 or so this morning.

There is quite a time difference with Europe (and the Netherlands). Normally I post right before dinner or right before bedtime (probably right after my bedtime...). But I think I've been here also at a ungodly time occasionally, but just in the weekends.


EDIT: to answer the question, I get up around 7. At the moment each day during the week I welcome 2 construction workers at 7.15. They are redoing the bathroom, stairs, kitchen and toiletroom of the appartment I moved to recently. Today they removed my toilet, so tomorrowmorning I'll be using the limited facilities of a friend living nearby....

I'm a Nighstalker... so sleep is more or less an option rather than an acutal requisite to life. At times I'll sleep anywhere from 15 minutes up to 10 hours a day. It's a rather spedious way to advance the time when needed.

5:00. My job begins at 8:30 but I like to get there early to run reports, order the day, script meeting, etc.
