It would be helpful it there was a definition of CPA
in the F.A.Q.

I can now see it is some kind of card game... Right?

...no, but really, read the mission statement, it explains it pretty well, I think.

The CPA is everywhere and everything, it's in your dreams and,.....no, wait, that's the Matrix.
The CPA is a hodge-podge mix of people who play the card game .\\agic:The Gathering at various levels ie casual, tournament, etc...
Tha CPA serves as a voice to the makers of .\\agic:The Gathering, Wizards of the Coast, to keep them abreast of what "the Little People" (the real people who keep it alive) are thinking about the way they make cards, make rules and errata's etc...

Sometimes, it's serves as a cyber social cafe (CPA members-you know it does!).

It really can be whatever YOU want it to be.
