Choose two target creatures controlled by one player. That player sacrifices one of them, then returns the other to its owner's hand.
Doomsday Specter Planeshift Rare:
Flying. When Doomsday Specter comes into play, return a blue or black creature you control to its owner's hand. Whenever Doomsday Specter deals combat damage to a player, look at that player's hand and choose a card from it. The player discards that card.
Essence Vortex Ice Age Uncommon:
Bury target creature. That creature's controller may counter this spell by paying the creature's toughness in life. Effects that prevent or redirect damage cannot be used to counter this loss of life.
