WB arena land?

I recently ordered some cards from DNS and as usual they used basic land as protective packaging. However, one of them caught my eye as i didn't recognise the symbol, an M in a circle. A quick check at crystalkeep turned up this:

"A set of five basic lands with new artwork were made available to people that joined the new Arena League sponsored by Wizards of the Coast. The cards have a black border and the expansion symbol is a stylized M () which is displayed on the right side of the middle section of the card. "

However, the land i have is white rather than black bordered. Anyone tell me if d'angelo is just mistaken, or were the w/b versions not available for joining arena - and if so, how could you get them?

Additional information- it's a forest, art by Tony Roberts, copyright is 1993-1998 and it has the old T: Add G to your mana pool. text rather than just a big mana symbol like they do these days. i can't compare it to a 'normal' arena land because i don't know anyone with one :-(

I'll try and sort out a scan if it helps...

In Anthologies, they printed white bordered "Arena" forests. That's all it is; it isn't worth much.
"Normal" Arena lands look exactly the same, but with black borders (except they change the Arena lands every so often (don't they?); those lands date from about 1997, I think).
