i made this wake deck to slow my opponent down while speeding up my game
i just was hoping for a few comments/ideas
and some discussion

It's not a bad build... But I don't think the orim's chants are necessary... When I got whooped by the person playing a similar deck(similar - not same), I beat him down to 5 life, then he held on until he got his win condition...

Running 4 wakes - you could definitely run Laquatus, and Future sight... Future sight just makes your deck run so much faster... maybe 2 future sights, and 2 laquatus...

Also instead of the glarecaster and 1 wrath of god - maybe 2 cunning wish... something to allow you access to 15 extra cards...

The card drawing in you deck should get you to a wrath or moment's peace, and a sideboard could always be useful the first game in a match...

i like some of your ideas
i don't want to take out the chants
mainly because in extended i need the extra time
also they work good as a overmaster against counter decks
which give this deck a lot of trouble
i do like the cunning wish
however i was trying to adapt a burning wake deck
into extended with out using burning wish
i would like to keep discussing this with u and will try out the cunning wish idea

Does what you're playing have to be Extended?... If so that opens up a lot of options....

yea i do want it to be extended. i am trying to convert the wake deck of t2 into extended
so far i have found that it works quite well
however i don't want it to turn into one of the infinite
instant cunning wake decks
i am trying to make it close to a burning wake deck w/out using red or burning wish

Train is right about Cunning Wish, and its' instant selection pool is hooj in extended, even allowing you to get mana accelerators like Harrow if necessary. Potential to Stroke-kill as well as a secondary win condition - always a good thing.

I'd maybe run Accumulated Knowledge in extended over Deep Analysis, especially with Intuition.

And I personally like Constant Mists over Moment's Peace in extended, but without heavy mana-acceleration it is not as good.

On a side note, I think a Mirari-Wake deck with Plow Under's could be extremely strong in extended.

i like the idea for plow under but i don't know what to take out
i want to run maybe 3 plow unders

Maybe a Living wish base deck also?...

Quash x2 (not a single counter card stronger - gets rid of 4 cards...Then you can get this back with the nostalgic dreams or gaea's blessing, and wash, rinse, repeat...)

Nostalgic Dreams
Capsize x2 (madly dangerous with enough mana to buyback, you have the mana - you're running wake...)
Invulnerability - prevent damage with buyback...
Mind games - tap a permanent with buyback...
Whispers of the muse - draw a card with buyback...

so maybe adding 2 cunning wishes and 1 living wish
i tried the living wish before and it worked decent
i'll try out some of the ideas and post my results
