Waiting for the Worms [EDH]

Oversoul

The Tentacled One
This is my first new deck of 2026, and I'm trying to rein in power level while still using cards I like. It's also my first deck helmed by a commander from the new *Lorwyn Eclipsed* set.

As a big fan of Worm Harvest, I have to build around this guy. And while I couldn't resist the urge to include some of my personal favorites like Manabond, I think this list strikes a fine balance between jank and high-power absurdity.

Oversoul

The Tentacled One
I'd had this deck sitting in my bag for a couple of weeks, but I finally got to play it on Wednesday. Spike Weaver kept me alive and then Squandered Resources gave me the mana to hit the table with a big Decree of Pain. I had 11 creatures (Lluwen, Timeless Witness, World Shaper, Spike Weaver, and 7 worm tokens). and my opponents had enough that I ended up drawing 37 cards. My opponents forgot about World Shaper's death trigger, so they figured they'd be able to rebuild. Instead, I was able to sac all of my lands and bring them back multiple times, having drawn Aftermath Analyst, Lumra, Victimize, Regrowth, Seasons Past, etc. The Blood Artist I also drew let me win on that same turn.
