Well, Rizzo did give rise to Friggorid this year, much like Wakefield did with Secret Force (though Rizzo played the deck when it was bad, mentioned it, and the deck went nuts. Wakefield actually built and played his deck to prominance).

Well, I'm not sure of how the candidates are chosen. You have to pick one from a selection of 8 and I'm not sure how those eight are chosen to begin with...
