I haven't bought much physical Magic lately. Well I was kind of depressed yesterday and so I picked up a couple of Onslaught Packs. Really don't need a lot but thought wouldn't it be great if I could get an Exalted Angel. I can't afford her otherwise. So I open both packs and get a Oblation and anEXALTED ANGEL

Usually my wife opens the packs I get - the best shot we had was pulling 6 foils out of 8 packs...(only 1 was a foil land...)

no Exalteds online or IRL I have an Akroma online but not irl.

Oh yes I have a large collection of Angels but hadn't gotten any of the Onslaught ones yet. They are too expensive to buy and noone wanted to trade for them. I will wait til they rotate out of standard to pick them up at a reasonable price. I mean it is a collection not that important.

Man, I have such bad luck with packs, that I always get those crappy filler rares that they put in each set. (anyone remember impatience in 7th?)

As for actually getting cards, I have to rely upon other Nightstalkers to get them.



I did get a great deal for a Phage, The Untouchable at a prerelease once... cost me a few commons and uncommons I had shoved in my bag.

I see stuff like that all the time... A person has a rare they don't play much and they are trying to complete a net deck - or a personal vision and don't care about trading rares they don't play for commons and uncommons they don't need...

Especially in the casual sense...

I don't mind it, I was just wondering if at least the commons/uncommons were close to being worth a Phage (which admittedly is an "average" rare at best.

Or if they were a bunch of Pearled Unicorns or something
