Thankfully, no.

Just because a set of cards is meant for "casual" or non-tournament play doesn't mean they are a good thing. I looked at the spoiler and thought most of the cards were just plain stupid.

When I play a game, I want to play a game, not have the situation devolve into farce.

The set is funny, but I was probably expecting it to be more like Unglued when it is simply not as cool.

My friend and I went to one of the pre-release/release things and came 1st and 2nd. Sadly due to the way the cards have been made and our general nature of wanting to win, a lot of the games seemed to become more serious than any of the ptq games i have played. People were sat in silence writing things down so as to not let their opponent get back the powerful gotcha card. One guy sideboarded his 2 best monsters out against me (the 2/2 blue fliers for 2) as the upkeep on them is actually deceptively harsh.
Overall i think fun was had by most and we had an interesting debate as to wether the set as a whole would be a flop or not, so this brings me to.....

Are you going to buy any Unhinged?

personally i'm not!

Just for drafting. Then i will probably throw all cards acquired in my giant crap-draft box.

I know between 3 of us where I'am at, there's a total of 20 Unhinged boxes heading our way. We'll be doing a little Unhinged Drafting :)

I'm poor, so I'm only buying packs if I can get them cheaper than I can get the lands (which is about $1.25 each in bulk including shipping). So it's not likely.

I don't think I'm buying any either; I can barely get the regular set and the group I play with doesn't allow Unglued to be mixed in so I don't think they're going for Unhinged.
