U/W Color Screw - Looking for help

Here's a deck I've been waiting to build for awhile now. It focuses on Masques/Invasion color manipulation but its still rusty. This decklist is 70 cards for multiplayer, I can focus down to 60 for duel. Onto the list.

Creatures 14
3 Blind Seer (key #1)
4 Invasion U/W knight/merfolk
1 Obisdian Acolyte
1 Crimson Acolyte
1 King Crab (want more, can only find one)
3 Paladdin En-Vec
1 Serra Avatar

Permanents 12
4 Distorting Lens (key #2)
3 Douse (Blind Seer combo)
2 Insight (Blind Seer combo)
2 Teferi's Moat
1 Copy Artifact

Spells 17
4 Hydroblast (Distorting Lens)
4 Counterspell
3 Wash out (Distorting Lens)
1 Magical Hack
2 Fact or Fiction
2 Dismantling Blow
1 Mystical Tutor

Mana 27
1 Sol Ring
2 Coastal Tower
1 Strip Mine
1 Thawing Glaciers (really like this in here)
14 Islands
8 Plains

Other cards I'm contemplating:
Blue Elemental Blast (waiting for 4 to come in)
Hanna's Custody
Chameleon Spirit
Hibernation (or Wash Out, trying both)

Problems with it:
Its not consistent enough. I probably will cut it down to 60 cards, but I need to test what I have in here, their are too many fun cards I want to play with.

Needs better card drawing, FoF and Dismantling Blow are going to cut it. Insight is too dependent on the Blind Seer, but when I do get it I draw like mad.

Any ideas? All suggestions welcome.

Let's assume we have no idea of what your deck is supposed to do and how it'll win.
In no more than two short sentences, describe what it does and how it'll win.
I think you'll get more focused advice after writing it's method and objective.

It comes out of the gate straight control. I need Distorting Lens and/or Blind Seer out in play. Once one of these guys is out, I can start manipulating the playing field.

All my creatures (except for Serra) have color protection so I change whatever is attacking me to that color. I can also attack in the same manner. Teferi's Moat stops attacks also, King Crab and Wash Out take care of creatures. Hydroblasts take out annoying artifacts, Enchantments or creatures (thanks to Distorting Lens)

Serra is their as the finisher. Give her prot. color with an Acolyte, turn all opponents creatures that color and go in uninhibited. I'd really like a big Prot-color flyer as the finisher.

I forgot, I did end up cutting 1 Counterspell for an Ivory Tower.

FYI-I own zero Morphlings or Absorbs

Sorta reminds moi of the ole U/R Lace/Blast insane fun decks back then. The deck really revolves around Blind Seer, hmm? Eherm. Try adding Sway of Illusion/any mass color change spell (like those ones in Legends I think, aka Sea King's Blessing or something like that...) to help with the Washout.

On a useless sidenote, too bad WOTC stopped people from naming Pink as a viable color to Sleight something into. Ahhhhh, the old days... :D

Blind Seers zap colors... Regardless of what you settle on, once you get a solid way of damaging people, hide behind a Glacial Chasm. This works better in a Hack-Karma version of the deck, but still...

There are a number of good protection creatures out there, also Northern and Southern Paladins (remove them cards from play!).

In addition, Martyr's Cry (from the Dark) could prove to be an interesting form of global creature removal, especially if you add Sway(s) of Illusion. Just be prepared to deal with all the cards opponents may draw.

Thanks for all the suggestions (and for the King Crab Loafing Giant :D).

I figure its easier to respond to each card individually.

Sway of Illusion--Would make a nice addition to the deck, especially with all my prot-color creatures. I can use it with Washout or to finish off my opponent with an attack of prot-blacks. Actually Whimsical, my color of choice to turn permanents has always been "burnt umber". Get the old Crayola 64 box to find it.

Martyr's Cry--I like this alot, although the "draw a card for each" stipulation kind of sucks. The reason I probably wouldn't add it is b/c the deck isn't lacking creature control, and letting them draw potential Disenchants or even worse, Shatterstorm or Purify (both of which are being play in my group) is disconserting.

I own ZERO paladins, can you believe that? I was thinking about the rebel removers though.

Light of Day--This card is probably broken in here. However, our group has an unspoken rule that we don't play color hosers. Even though my deck has what can be considered color hosers, this is Uber-powerful and would make me the bane of the black players. I will test it out anyway though.

Yeah, Morphling would be my finisher of choice in here. I traded my 2 away though b/c I was tired of him dominating every game we played.

I have played the decks 3 times and I'm 3-0 surprisingly. This includes 2 duels where I didn't expect this to be that great. In each game I got down to the final 15 cards in the deck.

The creature control in here is fantastic. The ultimate being the King Crab when I have a Moat in play. It totally shuts down their deck. I might actually replace Fact or Fiction with Reviving Vapors. Its not as good, but the gain life ability is fantastic.

I still want a Big Prot-color flyer (or anything) if anyone has suggestions, I'm not crazy about Serra in here. I have tossed in 1 Chameleon Spirit and surprisingly its been great.

I don't get the morphling/acolyte combo, what can morphling die to that the acolytes will save him when blue mana won't?

What I'm thinking of is that I can give him prot-black or red and attack for 5 after pumping him. Its not broken by any stretch, but is a good source of beatdown in this deck. The creatures in this deck are meant to be a problem for my opponent, and he is a problem for any opponent. I was thinking about using the Mahamoti Djinn as the finisher. I'm not sure.

Come on guys, I know there is a big, prot-color flyer out there somewhere I'm missing.

Cerulean Wyvern is a 3/3 pro green for 4U from Mirage block. Oh, that makes him safe from Hurricanes, right?

All the Voices are flying 2/2 angels, though 3W to cast.

Knights of Thorn are pro red 2/2 banding knights, (3W from the Dark) which might prove useful. They don't fly, though.

I can't recall any big flyers, though.

Thanks for the flyers.

So what do you think I should drop in, the Cerulean Wyvern or the Mahamoti and more Acolytes?

Mahomati and the acolytes, no two ways about it. They're bigger, badder, and more useful.
