Trying to make a type 1 cycle deck, what are some good common / uncommon cycling cards in type 1? this is what i have so far its mostly type 2 b/c i dont know of many type 1 cycling cards

4 Fluctuator
4 astral slide
4 lightning rift

4 swat (cycle free with fluc.)
4 aura extraction ( cycle free with fluc.)
4 lay waste (cycle free with fluc.)
3 wrath of god
1 starstorm
3 slice and dice
3 solar blast

2 exalted angels
2 teroh's faithful

2 plateau
2 badlands
3 scrubland
3 sec. steppe
3 forgotten cave

You want to play the least amount of non-cycling cards as possible to make the deck as focused as possible. I was the last person to post on that thread, sorry for knocking the idea, but it's just not copmpetative in REAL type 1. In caual though, it could be fun.

Not to hijack this thread, but TheManaDrain.com is THE best vointage site on the net, where I do love the CPA it just doesn't attract the competative player that I have in me.

I do agree that CPA has the friendliest members and best off-topic forum.

the fluctuator/haunting misery deck isnt any good. But I think chances are, that the forthcoming two expansions might give us the cards needed for a playable deck. They didnt revive cycling, just for limited use...I hope. But dont expect too much. Fluctuator has GREAT combopotential, so the cycling cards have to be weak.
Just consider the powerfull theme cards didgeridoo and griffin canyon. Didgeridoo was good, and then all minotaurs have to suck. The first really good one came in planeshift. And we havent seen a good griffin yet. All the old goblins sucked, because they had grenade, and goblin king...
