I'm currently Trying to get the REST of the Power 9 for this deck, because i've played it on apprentice and it is HOUSE...


But the deck right now is...

The deck is gunna change a littel bit once i pick up my lotus and mox and timewalk. gunna take me about a month of work to do it, and still have money for my concerts

(powerman 5000, trapt, mudvayne evenecense. im seeing the opening band, SUITE 13, for evenescence and leaving lol)

It works as so...

Play a million spells in one turn (the best way is with Moxes and Hurkyl's Recall)

Play Mind's Desire ... play your whole deck.

Brain Freeze for 10,000 or so. Counters/Misdirection can't stop it since the Storm Trigger goes on the stack when the spell is played, so the would-be counterer has to deal with 1000's of Brain Freeze's.

You Win.

I love Type I.

You can do it with Cantrips, but the free artifacts/hurkyl's recall is much smoother.

I would sugest packing in as many Draw 7's as you can.

Find a Type I Academy decklist ... their almost the same deck.

Beter yet, go to TheManaDrain.com and look for a decklist called Slurpee.

I'm gonna keep this as mild and simple as I can; I don't want to get in trouble for flaming.

But 13NoVa, it might be nice if you posted with a little bit more maturity.

What motivation do you have for bringing up what concerts you can afford AFTER you buy up a couple P9?

The only thing I can think of is it's just passive-aggressive bragging about how much money you have to spend on cards.

Hey, buy all the P9 you want. I won't begrudge them to you, but you don't need to go waving it around. It's like a couple making out in public.

And heck, even the CPA might be impressed with your monetary capacities if you were paying all your own bills, but at 17, I doubt you are.

This is the CPA, not www.makeyouroinkfeelbigger.com. All you need to do is post your deck and ask for suggestions. If your decklist has P9 in it, fine. Either way, we don't care. Using faux-hackerspeak, bolded letters, and extra side notes about how awesome Powerman 5000 is just reeks of, "Oh, please think I'm cool. Please, please, please!"

I already lived through high school, I don't need to revisit it on the CPA.

Try throwing in Dream halls as well. A friend and I basically built what your doing awhile ago, however we used card drawers such as FoF, Trade Secrets and Concentrates to supplement with the pitch of Halls...also you need to draw the combo in order to go off. Threw in Mirari's, High Tide and Burning wish to pretty much go infinite. Works rather well actually. If you want I'll give you a deck list...don't even need P9 for it. Once he gets going and no one has at least 4 counters we all scoop.

This might sound like a silly suggestion, but hey, infinite mana is infinite mana....

Since you abuse High Tides anyway, you might want to sneak a palinchron or two in there. And/or compulsion, which can turn an excess of blue mana into more cards. But perhaps these are bad suggestions; I'm approaching it more from a 1.5 POV.

If you take the Reverend up on his Dream Halls suggestion, you might want to swap out the Mind Over Matter for it. Unless you've gotten great use from it, I don't feel that it really fits the deck.

If you're going to abuse high tides, and use the palinchron suggestion - a Squirrel nest would be cute...

Hey don't knock block constructed! I've got a player in my group who's completely addicted to it. While just the other day after casting his third demonic tutor to fetch yet another Mind Twist....wait never mind. I forgot Block is for people who don't mind seeing their multiple thousands of dollar card collections simply sit there collecting dust...or don't have the collection too collect dust..which is understandable.

I second Rooser's Opinion, only I am somewhat of a friend to soly and I think the underlining and bold might of been from his clumsyness.

as for the money flaunting, your lucking you don't live in the same town/city/county/state as him I happen to and 'yes' he is a very cocky individual if I do say so myself.

Although his decks are quite intuitively built and I enjoy pummeling them. Not to say that I never lose to them, It's all in the match-ups.
