Trying to figure out a song

Well, I haven't posted here in ages, and have generally been out of the magic loop, but there is a song I've been looking for the lyrics for, and it's driving me out of my mind.
Here is what I know, any help would be appreciated.

I think that the title is blister on the sun, but all searches for that have turned up no results.

The song is recent, and popular, kind of pop rock.

I the chorus sounds like:
Lemme go wiiiild
like a blister in the sun,
Lemme go wiiiiiiiild
shake hands I know you're the one

If you have heard the song there is one point where the main verse is sung several times in a whispery almost breathy restrained voice then the chorus is abruptly sung quite loud.

Any help would be appreciated.

What song you're talking about but it's not that recent; probably early 90's. And I thought it was

"Lemme go OUT
Like a Blister in the Sun
Lemme go OUT"

However, I don't know who it's by.

I'd probably just search on Blister and see what you come up with.
