Unfortunately, movies based on games don't tend to be bad - They tend to be absolutely god-awful. I'm not sure I trust _anyone_ to get Tomb Raider correct for a movie, since action games with little plot don't handily lend themselves to dialogue. I'm morbidly curious, but I'm definately not going to be expecting the best. Too bad, really - Tomb Raider is a great game. If they do it well, I'll be shocked.

It really depends on what you look for. I like watching the original Mortal Combat. It was not well plotted but I like the way they worked the fatalities in

From what Computer Gaming World says, the only link between the movie and the game is the character (obviously) and her dual gun action. Otherwise, the plot is totally different (not from the games). I don't know if you consider that good or bad...

As long as her portrayal is good I think the movie will be good. The trailer shows her as independant, smart, atheletic and irreverent.(as well as you can expect for a 2 minute collage) This is how I have always envisioned her so I am psyched. But you know how these things can be sometimes all the best shots are in the trailer and the rest of the movie is a dog. But I am going to be optimistic.

I don't really like the actress...Angelina Jolie...Did anyone ever see her in the Bone Collector?...That was the first movie I ever saw her in...She was terrible!...She had this one look on her face throughout the whole movie like she was trying to think and smelling sh*t..

I just got the Trailer! It looks like Indiana Jones, only with Robots and Matrix moves!!!!

I've only seen her in Gone In 60 Seconds, but she shouldn't have been billed as a co-star (which is what I got the impression she was, from the previews). She definitely had a supporting role... the advertising wasn't her fault though.
