Turn 1: Forest, make Birds Of Paradise
Turn 2: Phyrexian Tower, Sac Birds Of Paradise, make Academy Rector
Turn 3: Forest, Sac Academy Rector, search for Doubling Season, make 6/6 Spike Weaver

Oh yes, I like this deck...

4 Birds Of Paradise
2 Elves Of Deep Shadow
2 Golgari Guildmage
4 Spike Feeder
3 Shambling Shell
2 Spike Rogue (doubtful, easily replaced)
2 Spike Weaver
2 Academy Rector
1 Savra, Queen Of The Golgari
1 Nullmage Shepherd
1 Thopter Squadron
3 Triskelion
1 Seki, Seasons Guide
(28 critters)

2 Recurring Nightmare
3 Pattern Of Rebirth
1 Glare Of Subdual
1 Leyline Of Lifeforce
2 Doubling Season
1 Privileged Position
(10 spells)

2 Phyrexian Tower
2 Reflecting Pool
1 Godless Shrine
3 Orzhov Basilica
3 Llanowar Wastes
11 Forest
(22 land)

Not perfect, but then I'm not trying to make it perfect - I'm trying to make it flawed but enjoyable anyway. Deliberately playing just 2/3 copies of key cards like Recurring Nightmare and Academy Rector. Would add 3rd Doubling Season if I owned one, tho.

With Recurring Nightmare, this deck is in need of at least 1 Deranged Hermit/Sengir Autocrat/New flying Vampire guy. You can make a whole heap of tokens in a hurry.

Forgotten Ancient? Or is that a deliberate stay away from card?

Parallax Wave is a great toolbox target for the Rector if you have a DS in play.

Props for playing Seki.

Sekki is coming in as a 16/16, and making 32 1/1 creatures before he kicks the bucket, and only 8 of them need to be sacrificed to bring him back in as a 16/16.

I like those maths.

Token Resistance II: Hard Graft

4 Birds Of Paradise
2 Urborg Elf
3 Aquastrand Spider
2 Golgari Guildmage
1 Simic Guildmage
4 Spike Feeder
2 Vigeon Hydropon
3 Tradewind Rider
2 Spike Weaver
2 Academy Rector
1 Ulasht, The Hate Seed
3 Triskelion
1 Sekki, Season's Guide

2 Recurring Nightmare
3 Pattern Of Rebirth
3 Doubling Season
1 Followed Footsteps (with Doubling Season? Rock on! Make 2 4/4 Feeders...)

1 Phyrexian Tower
1 Gemstone Mine
1 City Of Brass
2 Reflecting Pool
1 Underground River
2 Llanowar Wastes
1 Godless Shrine
1 Simic Growth Chamber
2 Dimir Aqueduct
10 Forest

5 COLOUR POWAAAAH!

I think this is going to be an absolute blast to play, loads of interactions, really hard to kill and has some comedy monsters to win with (Ulasht, Sekki, Followed Footsteps on pretty much anything).

With any token deck powered by Green, I love throwing in a Parrellel Evolutions or two. With Doubling Season? A good thing!

I think the deck would be a lot more consistent (not to mention cheaper) if you limit it to two or three colors. So either purely Simic, SimicB or SimicR.
Also means you can play more Graft or Counter creatures, because you have to dedicate less cards to fixing your mana.

(or, you could go for SimicW and add opalescence. With that in play, you can play a Followed Footsteps on a Doubling Season. Fun!)

So... I get a 5/5 Doubling Season that makes two 5/5 Doubling Seasons, then eight 5/5 Doubling Seasons, then 2048 5/5 Doubling Seasons...

Jesus that gets really silly really fast.

Ulasht is ridiculous anyway. Under a Doubling Season he comes in like 8/8, makes 16 guys, then recurs back in at like 40/40.

So even though the wording on doubling is an effect... comes into play is already adjusted...

Why not run more Gemstone mines to start with?...

Wow, I think that's the only non-infinite combo that spirals into ridiculous numbers so quickly (other than Serra Avatar + Spirit Link or similar enchantment).

I think it's much sillier much faster than the Serra. The Serra doubles in size each turn. The Doubling Season is exponential.

As for Gemstone Mines - there's SO many activated abilities in the deck that I think you can't afford to have land dying on you.
