Half-demons. The mention of it kinda makes me go ewww. I guess its like, "when a human loves a demon..." disgusting. Just had to get that out. Sounds painful, too.

Other than that I don't believe there are all that many half-demons in magic.

Heh. I remember that. I'll bet The Firemind here would really love that part of the story, being that the mere mention of half-demons seems to gross him out...

I read that too. I prefered the Belgariad series to the Malorean. My favorite charachter was Silk, and he had a much more intriguing role in the first series!
