First of all, let me say hello, long time no see. It is good to see you up and about again.

Second of all, I have a few comments on your deck. From what I can see, the purpose of this deck is to get some big fat nasties on the board as fast as possible, and clear the way with an Earthquake. The only problem I see with this deck is the Skizzik.

Don't get me wrong, Skizzik is an awesome creature. I love him, but he doesn't belong here. Trust me. The card you are looking for is Kavu Titan. He is raw, and awesome. He costs one more than Blasto or the Hordes (after the Kicker, that is), but he has trample, which has never been a bad thing. Also, he becomes a 5/5 after the Kicker is paid, so he is more likely to survive a good Earthquake.

Thirdly, I would drop Scorching Lava for Breath of Darigaaz.

Breath of Darigaaz, 1R
Sorcery
kicker 2
Deals 1 damage to all creatures w/o flying and all players. If you paid the Kicker, Breath of Dagariz deals 4 damage to all creatures w/o flying and players.

Not too bad, huh?

Ok, so it doesn't take out flying critters. If you are that worried about flyers, play with Hurricanes in your sideboard. Sure it will kill your birds, but who cares. You loose one bird, they loose 3 faeries. Hmm. Good trade.

This is how I would build the deck.

Lands/Mana
10 Mountains
6 Forest
4 Shivan Oasis
4 Llanowar Elves
4 Birds of Paradise

Big Fat Critters
4 Kavu Titan
4 Blastoderm
4 Balduvian Horde

Clear the Way
4 Earthquake
4 Breath of Darigaaz
4 Seal of Fire
4 Urza's Rage
4 Pillage

There ya go. Try that out on a few unsuspecting friends. hehehe

If I may recommend? Breath of Darigaaz is not so good... When you compare it to Earthquake, it is only better if you have exactly four mana and need to Earthquake for exactly four. That is not a common situation. Therefore, I would recommend Earthquake or the burn you had originally over the Breath.

Yeah, the Titan is a good choice, heck, by this time next year, we'll all have four of them in our green decks.
As for the burn, I think you're okay w/o the extra mini-Quakes and actually keep the Skizziks and add the Titans.

I don't agree. The deck has 28 sources of mana, and shouldn't have a problem getting 4 mana by turn 4, and then dropping a really big fatty. The deck, as far as I can tell, uses the same concept as Wildfire: Cast big, fat, nasty critters, then kill all of theirs with Wildfire. With this deck, you should be casting the Breath of Darigaaz with the kicker after you have at least 1 big nasty on board. Then, you can proceed with beatings (unless the other player is playing red, in which case your big critter will be shot. Then you side in 4 Invigorates and 4 Giant Growths.)

Hmmmmm, kavu titan you say? Let me contemplate over that for a second.......

The main reason that I'm playing w/skizzik is haste. I can drop a turn 3 blastoderm, then turn 4 skizzik and attack for 10. Titan slows it down a little, but it might be a better choice. I'm not sure which one I like more... Titan is also worst against blue, where they can dominate your 5/5 for 5 w/ a dominate. I'm not really concerned about killing the skizzik w/ an earthquake, because I'll usually quake first to clear a path for skizzik, then drop him.

I like the lava over the breath. The reason that this is in here is for regens. No one likes it when river boa shuts down blastoderm. I think the breath may be a little bit of overkill. I'd probably side some if I was expecting a lot of weenies, but then I may just use cave-in, since it also takes out fliers.

Anyone in favor of harrow? I had 2 extra spots, and I thought they filled out the mana curve well. Any thoughts?

My friend and I were playing around with Invasion/Masques T2 and i pulled this combo off on him:

Forest, Birds, Go
Swamp, Dark Rit, tap everything (5 mana), Harrow (2 mana), tap my two new lands, Blastoderm, Go.

He was not too happy.
Harrow, in my opinion, is a nasty, evil (unless you are the one who plays it) card, and i believe that they fit well in that slot.
