For #6, I knew that Ra was the Egyptian sun god, and so I racked my brain and a search engine to find out the Greek sun god, and it was right here all along:
For example, if the clue I give is "God of the Sun", the answer would be "Apollo".

The only way to get #7 without guessing was to know that Ed Sullivan (th TV show host) had a funny way of pronouncing "show."

I should have got number 7 being old enough to have watched the show but I was stuck on the old woman in the shoe. Oh well.
