Anyway, a good friend of mine pointed out a flaw in my rules purposal:

210* – All spells and abilities go on the ‘Stack’ and resolve F.I.L.O. (first-in, last-out).
210.1 – The following are not put on the ‘Stack” and therefore cannot be responded to:
210.1a – Mana produced from lands, Cycle, Cycling effects, Morph, Morphing effects, and “flip cards” when they flip (these cards are from Champions of Kamigawa).

The words in Bold are inconsistant with 8th Ed. rules, so I'm omitting them from the purposal.

Things went well this past Saturday. I've written an article about the event and Spidey should be posting it on the front page sometime this week.

The quick of it is that I came in second out of seven with a Green/White Control deck that had E-Dragons and Wrath of Gods. The reason I lost was that I "decked" myself :( .

If I had not been so excited about our new virtual "Serum Visions Effect" I would've remembered that the effect is a "MAY" not a "Have to".

I would've put the beatdown on the guy who DID win within two more turns

Heck, with such an effect I would include 1 Feldon's cane in EVERY deck I'd play. It is a dead draw early on, but with that much card drawing that doesn't matter. You could even scry it to the bottom of your library if you're lucky.

My tactic would be to abuse the scry mechanic: use something like primitive etchings, future sight, mise (or predict) or just add some very specific hate cards (meltdown, light of day, perish, etc.).

I also replied to the article (it's up!), because not everyone might read this thread.
