I decided to make a fun deck based around Aurification, purely for casual play. It isn't half bad. It's completely anti-wall. Here's the list, any ideas are welcome.

4 Aurification

3 Juggernaut
2 Marble Priest
2 Battering Ram
3 Dwarven Demolition Team
4 Goblin Digging Team

4 Enlightened Tutor
4 Chaos Charm
3 Gylph of Life
4 Life Burst
4 Word of Blasting

4 Plateau
10 Plains
9 Mountain

Anti-wall is a neat theme...

"Now where's that championship wall deck?!...";)

I'd think you'd need something to make your opponents attack. Otherwise they'd just sit there and build up until they can kill you with one blow.

Yeah, all I could think of was Nettling Imp or the Ice Age guy, but I'm sure there's more recent cards that does the same thing...

Maddening Imp would be the best way to go, but if you're looking for more recent junk you might actually have lying around, Walking Desecration is in Onslaught and not half bad.

Backing up a bit, this is what attracted me to the CPA, not the fact that peole would build good wall decks, but the fact that they'd build anti-wall decks too.

Now if we could just reduce all that OnBC clutter...

This is a really cool theme.

Forcing people to attack you is the way to go it seems. The best off-color way to do this is probably Bullwhip (the only others I know of are black).

You hit all of the good 'destroy target wall' cards.

The only inherent flaw I see in the deck is that these creatures still need to get through once in order for you to use your 'kill the wall' tricks - meaning you will still be taking a good amount of damage.

I'd probably cut back on the instant wall-killers (focusing almost strictly on the permanent-based solutions...except Word of Blasting) and put in stuff that either gains you gobs of life, or prevents some damage, like Forcefield or hmm...what else only prevents some life?

Bullwhip! That was the colorless card!

Stuff that could prevent damage - Urza's Armor (probably not right here)

Stuff that could help gain life - Orim's Prayer, Reverse Damage...

I'm beginning to think Spirit Link can be really good for the deck. Bullwhip might be a good choice, the only other thing I can think of is Boiling Blood. I think both are expensive, but my options are limited.

Hoho, great idea Train. That'd be freaking perfect in here.

Here are some specific rulings about it in crystalkeep.com
It does affect Walls and other creatures that cannot attack. [Urza's Legacy FAQ 1999/02/03]
It does not affect creatures which did not attack, but which are tapped before the end of turn. [DeLaney 1999/02/10]
Creatures which are newly played and have summoning sickness will be tapped and cause damage at end of turn (unless they become tapped before then). [D'Angelo 1999/06/14]
