Team CPA!

Okay, I thought I had enough for an article but this thread will do just fine.

This past Friday night I hosted a "Night of Magic" at my place which is something I do about once every three months or so. But what made this occassion special was that we had three honest-to-goodness CPA memebers:
~Me (active)
~Mooseman (active)
~Youngbeard (temporarily inactive but will return soon)

Three other guys were there:
~Bibgun
~Warry
~Bibgun's Bro-in-law Jimmy

We played four team-games but the first one was Team CPA (listed above) vs. the other three listed.

Now when I KNOW I'm going to write an article I usually take notes on the game(s) but I really didn't take any for this night because it wasn't until Moosie mentiuoned it near the end of the night and I had *purged* loads and loads of info already from me tiny brain.

Hopefully youngbeard and Mooseman will jump in and give details about the games.

All I remember is that I was playing my MML deck which is an altered version of BGW Triad Control with Loxodon Hierarchs, Miren, the Moaning Wail and 2 Kokushos & 2 Yoseis. It was *ugly* for our opponents and we won.

Bad notes, but a boat load of fun.

's possible, or it was when Ransac, Solespecter and I lived in Atlanta.

We never really tried that hard, though.

It'd be something interesting and it would show some notoriety. We should try it for like two headed giant or something.

Whoa. I suddenly wish I was still playing (okay, it faded just as fast as it hit). The idea of a couple dozen CPA members showing up at Worlds (with matching T-Shirts and Hats!!!) strutting around the Pros showing that we don't care about winning or losing. Having games against each other while chatting, laughing, correcting the others' mistakes. HAVING FUN! That would be so cool.

That 'button' idea of many years ago kinda fell through. People say they want something, and then don't help get it started. So it goes.

Not that I don't think it would be a bad idea, but has anyone actually been to Worlds? Are the players really not "having fun"? I kinda doubt it... they're probably having a ball themselves...

If it makes any difference... I could probably find some CPA cheerleaders >.>


I hear Man-fay is free that time of year.
