Just thought I'd share this gem of mine simply because it's unique. Tell me what you think.

The Manary:

Barren Moor x4
Swamp x21

The Fodders:

Tsabo's Web x4
Ornithopter x4

The Grumblecakes:

Braids, Cabal Whoreface x4
Tangle Wire x4

The Beat-meisters:

Dauthi Horror x4
Dauthi Slayer x4
Dauthi Warlord x4
Dauthi Marauder x4

The what?

Skeletal Scrying x3

The meat of it is that you have a shadow rush backed up by lock-down disruption. It's interesting to play in multiplayer and provides a unique experience overall. Remember that Tsabo's Web cantrips when you play it, can be tapped for your Tangle Wire, and can be sacrificed to Braids at little cost to your development. Try it for yourself!

It never falls flat, but sometimes the disruption doesn't really do much. Sometimes it locks down everybody's development early and gains a huge advantage in creature count and sometimes it just plays like it's a deck with a bunch of shadow creatures in it. It never does terrible, but it doesn't always do stellar.

Give it a whirl in Apprentice though and see how you like it.

It definitely packs a punch thanks the the nearly unblockably shadow creatures. And it's a flexible deck.

I doubt that it's an issue in multiplayer, but I find myself wishing it were faster, like with Dark Ritual...

Dark Ritual might not be a bad idea, but understand that it'd be one of those things where it's not really good on turn 1 or 2, but rather on turn 3, 4, or 5. On turn 1, you gots Dauthi Marauder, which is a good play, but that's it, (A turn 1 Tangle Wire is a waste of a Tangle Wire).

But I guess a random 2 extra mana in the mid-game can really help you power out a devestating turn.

What about substituting a Hypnotic Specter for a Dauthi? Really get your disrupt on.

The Hippy doesn't possess the superior evasion of shadow, however it is a decent flyer with a nasty ability, all wrapped up in a acceptable CC.

While I definitely think Hyppie is better on his own, the problem is that any Dauthi has synergy with Dauthi Warlord, while the Hyppie obviously lacks that feature.

It may still be an acceptable sacrifice though. It depends...

Lake of the Dead is poor with Braids. It would be worth it, although I think it provides a midgame boost the deck wouldn't need...

Unsure about Stronghold...

stronghold would be great with braids if you had the mana base... The lake is for simple early lockdown and speed...
