Finally saw the first episode last night from tape since the next one's tonight. Not much to say except they must have edited the pig-killing scene more as you didn't see anything form what the critics saw from their previews.

And Eliza does seem to talk a lot, I noticed that from her first two "interview" thingies before her tribe remarked on it :)

Yeah, but interesting in episode 2 what she does. I don't blame her...I don't think Dolly was very political and probably didn't know how to scheme to save her life, but the fact that she'd basically end up siding with whichever team she talked to last made her very risky to keep around.

What surprises me is how scout so messed up on the challenge - and they didn't bring it up much when looking at whom to vote out...

Sarge is a little bit on the "crazy" side don't you all think?

Waiting for this next week's now...

Well, I forgot to post about week 2 and week 3 is already done... oh well. It's going to be catch-up time this whole season.

I'm not sure what you meant by "interesting what she does", referring to Eliza, EricBess. Are you talking about her scheming to get off the chopping block?

Scout was the weak link in the immunity challenge but it looked like the girls had already split into factions and had chosen (initially) who to vote for already. Of course, once those people found out, Dolly seemed to be way out of her league and was blabbing plans around left and right and I agree her indesiciveness cost her (and her swing vote position).

Sarge seems okay but Rory seems to be a bit... different. I think he's either playing the game with different standards and since no one else is, he's the odd man out or he's just a bit whiney.

Yeah, that was basically what I was referring to.

It is interesting that both teams are a bit fragmented at the moment and both teams seem to be voting off the younger players...

Well, it was the first vote for each tribe so far ('cause I still haven't seen last week's episode - gotta see it tonight before tomorrow's!) I think they're still feeling everything out and seeing who's allied with who.

Oh, so you haven't seen the lastest twist. The, "let's cram a whole week into one day" episode... :D

Crap, I still didn't get to see it last night (for some reason we watched Wife Swap) so now I have find time to catch up with tonight's tape. Geez...

Okay, finally saw that episode (but still need to watch the latest one from last week). I didn't think it was too exciting, actually. I guess the interesting things was John strategy to find out the initial alliances by finding who voted for Dolly, and then figuring out interactions there (since he saw the Eliza conflict in that group). Additionally, his impression of talkative Eliza was pretty funny :)

Interesting that the "young" girl group can't get it together and they're getting picked off one by one by the older group since so far, at least one person has defected to their group by voting. I thought Mia was a good choice from what was shown - she might have felt she was just speaking her mind and calling Twila out, but she seemed more disruptive and came across as defensive and lashing out because Twila's comments seemed to be on-base.

The guys camp is harder to figure out. I would have thought that Rory would have been voted off by now since he seems to rub the group in the wrong way, but they seem to be sticking to their strategy of voting off the strongest perceived member. I guess we'll have to see how that works :)

I think the next episode will give you a bit more insite into the guy's camp...

We were about three-quarters the way through the next show and then the baby woke because she's sick and has a stuffy nose and we couldn't put her back to bed by herself.

So we got up to when the guys seem to be scheming on Rory after he went to try fishing in the shallows. I think I see what you mean when earlier they said there was a five guy alliance which included Sarge and Rory, but they seem to be playing up? the tension between the two and trying to make it seem like the alliance won't last. Didn't get to the challenge part or who was voted off though.

The reward for the women was cool; I hope they remember it instead of forgetting it like what happened in a previous season.

Okay, saw the rest of it. Not much else to say, actually. Despite Brady's attempt to break the alliance, they held together and he's out. I guess tribes are switching from the preview of last week's show, which we haven't gotten to yet - and that earthequake scene.

Wow, no one has posted for a while....I still need to watch a couple of back episodes, but I saw it last night. I was disappointed that it looks like they are going to keep the "woman's alliance". At this point, even if Twila is planning on keeping the new alliance, but wanted to get rid of Rory first, Amy is really getting to Julie, so they just aren't going to have the numbers.

Not only that, but Rory was going to vote with Sarge all the way, so he would have been someone easily swayed had they lost Julie from the group anyway.

Yeah, we haven't been able to watch the last four episodes which is why I haven't been posting...

Sorry I haven't kept up with this to keep posting... we have all of the episodes on tape except the finale, but not sure if we're actually going to watch them so I saw part of the Reunion and who won. Obviously I can't really post opinions or anything since I missed so much... :(

Well, if you already know who won, then a lot of the episodes are going to seem pretty odd. The one thing you are going to be wondering all the way is how it could possible have happened. It's certainly interesting to see the alliances break down and things get twisted and manipulated such that that person actually wins (I'm trying to be a bit vaugue for now in case anyone doesn't know who won yet).

I think just you, me, and train watch these reality shows... :)

Well, if we ever get around to watching the back episodes, it might be interesting to see how things got to the winner's point. There's a couple of co-workers who also watch it and have been discussing it nearby so I can't help but overhear snippets and such, so I kinda knew what was going on...
