There are nude pictures on the internet of the host?

And,......were there four people fired from the island last episode?

I don't know about that, but if paparazzi took the photos, it could be true...

Didn't see the 10/27 episode yet. Did just see the 10/20 episode where a person from each tribe got eliminated (although no interviews that I saw, strange). Amy is just a monster, breaking or doing whatever to her foot and still pulling through for the reward challenge the second time. I don't think the Judd tribe made the right choice in voting out Margaret but I guess we'll see if she was the problem. Not sure if Brian knew that he was going to be voted out - my wife said Rafe should have been hidden when listening to their tribal council so they'd speak more freely, but they sure were praising Brian to the extreme. But I guess his line of "this is where the outwit comes into play" came back to bite him.

I always have to wonder how people watching one season affects what happens in the next season. This is perhaps particularly true when someone has lived it.

For example, everyone was praising Brian. I think it was more for Rafe's benefit than for Brian's. During the last season, when they did the double elimination, the sit-in got to give the imunity to one of the players on the other team. In that season, they decided to give it to someone that everyone seemed to want to vote off, just to shake things up a bit.

This season, by buttering up Brian, I have to wonder how much of that was to make Rafe think that giving immunity to Brian would be a waste of effort. In other words, "no way Brian's going, so don't bother".

I'm not sure what would have happened had Brian been given the immunity. I have to think that Bobby John would have been eliminated based solely on Brian's vote against him.

Last week, in fact, the look on Rafe's face when he saw that it was Brian voted off was actually quite interesting. I think he realized that he had been thrown. Regardless, I'm not really sure why he gave immunity to Gary.

I won't give away what happened last week so that you can watch it, but the one "twist" they had that might be important if you end up skipping and watching this week is that at the end of tribal cousil, Jeff sent them off to the other tribe with buffs so they could tell everyone else that the merge had happened.

Last night's episode was pretty interesting. I won't say too much in case you haven't seen it, but the whole situation in the tribal counsel was different.

There was a lot said about honesty and whether or not players told the truth or lied or whatever. In the end, it was very interesting to see lies that turned out to not be lying after all and people telling the truth and then circumstances changing to make what they said be a lie.

Well, even though we still have to watch the 10/27 and 11/3 episodes, we watched the 11/10 episode so we wouldn't fall even further behind. Although my wife said it doesn't really matter to her as this whole season is pretty boring to her.

So we did see that there was a merge :D I'm not sure what kinds of things you're talking about; the only thing that sticks out in my mind is when Gary was asked if he's told a lie and he said "no". I'm pretty sure everyone has lied though.

I'll have to watch the 11/3 episode to see what put Jaime in the doghouse with the rest of the tribe :)

And I guess we'll have to wait until next week when Gary will reveal where he found the idol (hopefully).

Jaime told Bobby John that he wasn't going, which was true, but since Gary found the idol, Bobby John is natually going to assume he lied.

Steph flat out told Gary that he wasn't going to get kicked out and that she would tell him if he was, which was a flat-out lie, but again, the idol changes all that...

But even before that, everyone is telling Jaime that they are all with him, but based on conversations, there is a really good chance he would have been axed if he hadn't won immunity.

Ah yes, now I remember. I'm assuming they cleared that up amongst themselves by the reunion show, if not when they were spending time on the jury (assuming they all got on the jury).

It is pretty funny though :)

So, at this point, things are finally starting to get interesting. No, the twists are just normal twists, but the "alliance" is starting to break down.

I don't know if you've caught up yet, so I'll try to be careful how much I say, but Gary made some comments near the end of the last episode and layed it on the line while catching some people in a couple of blatent lies...

Of course, this has been coming for some time because realistically an alliance of 6 can't work well and the paranoia has got to set in at some point...

I'm not sure if I taped on Thanksgiving so we caught the last 15 minutes or so. We saw Gary getting voted out but catching Judd in his lie about the idol being on the ground. But the thing was, it seems the votes were pre-determined from his interview when the credits were rolling; everyone voted for him, even Danni and someone else who he seemed to think was on his side.

But yeah, seeing how there's a core four now, I think Lydia wants to shake things up so she can survive.

Yeah, I was a bit surprized that Danni and Lydia voted for Gary after all of that. At this point, I think that a few of the people in the strong 4 aren't really happy with other people in that group, but they aren't willing to shake it up, either. Next two will be Lydia and Danni, but there is going to be a lot of backstabbing in the meantime.

Well, last night's episode was very interesting. If you ask me, some of the stuff that was pulled off last night was the type of stuff that should be going on every season...basically playing on the paranoia that the game itself creates.

Its funny because there has always been an assumption that certain people (or a certain person) is calling the shots, but I think that this isn't very clear anymore. I think that if the people involved realize exactly what it is they've created, the ending of this season could be a lot more up in the air than anyone would have ever suspected.

I don't want to say too much more than that because I don't know if everyone's seen it yet, but I'm just saying that it was quite interesting. And allowing a player to "buy" an advantage in the immunity challenge was a brilliant twist. There have been a few times in this season where they have effectively made it clear to all players "who really wants immunity and who feels safe" and I think it's very telling and adds some serious levels to the game.

I missed the first 15 or so minutes when they had the auction, but saw the rest of the show. Actually, maybe because I missed it, but I found the rest of the show kinda boring. Yeah, the people are manuvering to get votes and yadda yadda, but I just didn't get into it.

I thought Danni used her Immunity Advantage too soon but I guess not, the way things turned out.

I'm glad Judd got out; I found it amusing that before, when he was sure he wasn't going to be voted out, he was saying stuff like "It's all part of the game" and "Nothing personal". Then when he gets voted out, it's "You scumbags" and "Wait til the Final Two" :)

Yeah, I loved his speech on "everyone here has someone they want off, and that's okay because it gets me closer to the end".

But realistically, Danni and Lydia played into the paranoia of the game to get the alliance to turn against itself. I think in part, that comes from a 6-person alliance to begin with. If they figure out exactly what happened, they might have something very strong. For example, imagine if next week, Danni and Lydia go to Cindy and tell her, "they came to us and told us they wanted to get Judd out. We didn't know you weren't included...want to vote out Steph?"...

Right. Cindy looked a little bewildered and confused when Judd was voted out - I guess they didn't tell her what was going on (and they didn't need to since they had the necessary votes). But now she's probably worried about what's going on....

Yeah, in the previews, she comments about a "pattern". Well, they went against the alliance to vote Jaime out, and they decided not to tell Judd. Now, they went against the alliance again to vote out Judd and decided not to tell Cindy...That's got to mean something, right ;)

Don't want to say too much because I don't know if anyone has seen it. Hard to say if this is a surprise ending or the expected ending. There were certainly a lot of abused expectations, but hey, lots of money on the line...
