I am in a pretty bad position, most of my working decks(cleric, sliver, mono green stomper, white weenie, horrible affinity, mono blue im-not-sure-what-the-theme-is) are onslaught based and I want a T2 deck for when kamiwaga block comes out. Ive decided to work on my white weenie and make it T2.

Here is the onslaught stripped, fifth dawn added, real version:

land
17 plains
1 ancient den
18 land

creatures
3 skyhunter prowler
2 loxodon punisher
3 skyhunter cub
3 leonin elder
3 auriok glaivemaster
4 auriok bladewarden
4 slith ascendant
4 leonin den - guard
27 creatures

other
4 leonin scimitar
3 vulshok morningstar
2 vulshok battlegear
2 bonesplitter
2 loxodon warhammer
2 ritual of restoration
1 scythe of the wretched
15 other

60 cards

This deck doesn't have shikari and a few others because they're too expensive. Before I buy the bracketed cards I want to know if others would play it differently. I strive to keep most cards under 4cc so this is fast enough for competitive play. Did you know, this deck could almost be a theme deck? Its got 12 uncommons to a theme decks 13, but its got an extra rare.(is a theme deck the same as a sealed deck?)

EDIT: Cptn, your just a little too late, i just went to the card shop and got all the bracketed cards at the nice lil price of $10. I did a goldfish test and won with two lands on around the sixth turn, so I think the decks made pretty good. you can still give suggestions on what to take out and add in if you think i made a bad mistake though.

Its probably going to be difficult to guess what WW
will look like once the rotation happens. Kamiwaga
block might give us more to work with. The loss of
Skullclamp hurt alot and the Knights(silver & White)
leaving might bring an end to the WW dominance we
see today(ha,ha)

Any hoo, building a poor man's WW without Onslaught
Block cards 'might' work.I really haven't payed
much attention to card prices lately so a few of
my suggestion might still be expensive but they
should have fallen off by now.

Po' Man's WW'

I would definitely drop the Battlegears for Lightning Greaves for obvious reasons. and how come no one playys Auriok Champion....besides not be able to obtain them?

The thing is a 1/1 Pro red and black, it only costs WW, and whenever another creature from either side of the board comes into play you gain 1 life!!! What is not good enough about that?

now looking at the equipment....you have 16 btw

2 Lightning Greaves
4 Bonespiltter
1 Scythe of the Wretched
2 Loxodon Warhammer
4 SS's Gift
1 Sword of Fire/Ice.................>Shield of Kaldra
1 Sword of Light/Shadow.........>Sword of Kaldra
1 Fireshieker..............................>Helm of Kaldra

White and Silver might get reprinted in 9th...;)

as for kamigawa... not sure what to expect... try using more of a weenie utility deck with all of mirrodin's artifacts... not just p/t boosters - but utility artifacts...

swords, etc...

I think that it is very hard, actually, down right impossible to build a good, competative deck before a new set comes out. Sure, you can build something with what your have, but if something crazy comes out in the next set, and it is bound to happen, you might have wasted a whole lot of time playtesting, and getting cards that are going to be useless. I would say you should wait on trying to make a deck until after it comes out. As for white wheenie, my friend and I playtested a deck, and it actually did pretty well in playtesting, for mirrodin block at least, I think it will have a harder time in type 2 as even with the new set, that people will keep on playing affinity, tooth and nail, and lots of dual color control.
