sunburst deck

I opened a pack of fifth dawn one day and saw some good sunburst cards, including clearwater goblet. I already had accumulated some ok sunburst stuff (including blue and black bringers) so I decided to try out a sunburst deck. To my surprise it worked quite well, getting out powerhouses as early as the 5th turn even in its cobbled together state. I decided I was going to make this deck playable. Later, I got enough cards to give me a full 4 skyreach manta, suntouched myr and 3 pentad prisms. Now I do still have a lot of cards I want to add(fist of suns, suncrusher, solarion, another prism etc.) but I want your opinion. I definately want to know if you think I got the land right.

Well, wadya think? I think that when I get suncrusher and solarion, I'll boot some mana myrs. I'll boot the baton, paradise mantle, and thirst for more baubles and prisms. sometimes during goldfishing, I get enough mana stuff to put out both bringers on the same turn, but no bringers do I see. I really want fist of suns because in addition to making sunburst spells(like suncrusher) cost less, I can make things like suntouched myr and pentad prism cost more but thus get more counters on them. Do you guys think I got the mana right?

it looks O.K to me. i used to have a near perfect deck as far as sunburst goes. at least everyone i play with thought, it looked like this:

Well, i take that near perfect comment back, it was a damn good deck as far as sunburst goes. but, i hope this isnt for competetive play cuz sunburst sux. but, i guess my suggestion is is just to do whatever u feel comfortable with cuz sunburst is VERY fun to play but isnt to great.

I like the idea...

I think the mana looks good if you're keeping it type 2... and if you're making it block...

If not - City of Brass, the invasion lands, crystal quarry, etc... are all options that can help greatly...

Harrow would work mana wonders - like it did for domain... and you could even include some domain cards...

(I'm just not sure if you are meaning it to be block or not...):rolleyes:

if its not T2 then you could use that Gaea card that when u play it, sac 5 lands then search your deck for 1 land of each color.

I always sorta lean towards having T2 decks, mostly because I have so few pre onslaught cards. I do have an ion storm. I think my deck has too much mana accel, because I sometimes get a full hand of it but no big creatures in sight. Once I get the core game starter, maybe I'll go on a buying spree and get solarion, fists, and the other important rares. those would replace the extra mana myrs.
